1. Level I – Four-Year FCPS Training
Specifically tailored for candidates who have passed the FCPS Part-1, this program avails specialties in virtually every major medical discipline. The disciplines available are:

2. The FCPS Training at Level II is for three years
Candidates who have done two years of clinical internship in General Medicine or General Surgery, preferably those who have passed IMM. Available disciplines include:

• Pediatric Surgery
• Cardiac Surgery
• Orthopedic Surgery
3. Level II Training Two Year FCPS
This program is for candidates who have finished their FCPS in General Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, or any Superspecialties of Medical Microbes like Nephrology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, or Anesthesia. Available specialties are:

• Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
• Neonatology
• Gastroenterology
• Infectious Disease
• Critical Care Medicine
4. 4-6 Years Duration of Residency Program awarding MD/MS/MDS Degrees

Master in Dental Surgery (MDS):

Basic Qualification for Admission
1. MBBS or Equivalent Qualification: Should provide, proof of registration with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC).
2. One-Year House Job: Original pass in-house job from an institution recognized by PM&DC is compulsory.
3. Permanent PM&DC Registration: This means valid and permanent registration is needed.
4. Passed FCPS Part-1/MD/MS/MDS Level-I: Copies of certificates of having passed the relevant examination from CPSP or SZABMU programs.
5. Foreign Applicants: By registering with the medical council of your home country you can apply through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or HEC.
How to Apply
1. Apply Online: Please apply online on the website www.pims.gov.pk within a period of fifteen days from the date of this notice.
2. Processing Fee: Pay a non-refundable amount of PKR 2000 for every specialty and deposit in NBP account number- 1780003010766690 under the title of Securities Account PIMS off A/C.
3. Documentation: Attach the completed application form only and the scanned fee slip.
4. Selection Process: The candidates will have to be selected on a merit basis and a written examination and interview will be set for those who will qualify for the interviews.

Additional Information
Serving Government Employees: In order to apply, one has to go through an official procedure with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Extra-Ordinary Leave (EOL) if deemed chosen.
Admission Criteria: Based on the scores on tests, past academic performances, as well as overall interviews, groups will be selected.
No TA/DA: No traveling and daily allowance will be given for the interview.
