It has become official to announce the long-awaited Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT-2024) Retake Results. These results in descending order of the acquired scores are now available on the official STS website.
MDCAT-2024 Retake: Test Overview
The MDCAT-2024 Retake exam was conducted on December 08, 2024, across six cities in Sindh: The major cities of Pakistan in which we are interested are Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana and Sukkur. This retake created a chance of getting admission for those who intended to be medical or dental students in the college of their dreams.
Addressing Grievances and Ensuring Accuracy
To support the fairness and transparency Practices, to the concern of candidates of SIBA Testing Services (STS), before final release of the said provisional results, complaints or queries will be entertained by the office. All these issues were carefully looked at and dealt with by the Result Grievances Committee with members who understand the topics being worked on. After such a thorough verification of the data presented below, the final results are presented in the publication.
Admission Cut-off Criteria
The results have been finalized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) guidelines:
The minimum admission requirement to the MBBS program is set at fifty-five percent.
However, the BDS program requires the candidate to have passed with 50% or above.
Outstanding Performers
The MDCAT-2024 Retake featured some great performances from some of the candidates. The top achievers include:
• 1st Position: Four students got the highest mark of 192 marks.
• 2nd Position: Three students got 191 marks.
• 3rd Position: Seven students scored 190 marks.
