Army Medical College (AMC) Online Registration: It is planned to launch on October 9024.
Private Medical and Dental Colleges Online Registration: Released on 16th October 2024 (this is tentative).

Merit Determination Formula
• Entrance Test (MDCAT NUMS 2024 or equivalent international exams like MCAT (USA) or UCAT (UK)): 50%
• HSSC/FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent qualification: 40%
• SSC/Matriculation or equivalent qualification: 10%

Who Can Apply?
The NUMS has different categories of Open Merit Seats and foreign seats, with distinctions and different rules governing each category.
Open Merit Seats
To apply under this category, candidates must meet the following requirements:
• All Pakistanis from AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan areas are eligible to apply.
• Passed MDCAT (NUMS) 2024 is mandatory for all applicants; they must have obtained 55% to be considered for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
• An applicant should have passed FSc (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent degree and should have a minimum of 60% marks in the final degree. This includes Biology, Chemistry, Physics, emetics, or any other relevant subject.
• This is particularly important, considering that before joining W&R Dte, GHQ, as Paying Cadets, the candidates have to pass the examination and enroll in the Army Medical College (AMC) on open merit through the NUMS online website.
Foreign Seats
For candidates applying under the foreign seats category:
• They could only be Dual Nationals (Pakistan origin) or Overseas Pakistanis.
• Applicants must have passed the HSSC/12th grade OR equivalent examination and submit a Certificate from the last institution attended by any foreign country.
• An aggregate of 60% in the Pre-Medical group subjects (biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics).
• The university requires at least 55% in MDCAT (NUMS) for MBBS and 50% for BDS or MCAT (USA) or UCAT (UK) score.

• Photocopy of the Candidate’s and Father’s CNIC/NICOP/Passport

• Original SSC Mark sheet and Certificate attested by IBCC.
• Certified/mark sheet of HSSC duly attested by IBCC
• Other Advanced Level Certificates (O/A Level) and equivalency of the International Baccalaureate Certificate and Credit (IBCC) (if available).
• MCAT/UCAT test score of the year 2024, Result of NUMS (MDCAT)
• Foreign seat applicants require the Certificate from the last attended institution.
• The recognition of foreign degrees/qualifications shall be done according to HED policy and guidelines, as mentioned in section 1. Candidates having foreign qualifications/qualifications other than A-level, IB, and American/Canadian grade l0/12 must provide an Equivalence certificate from IBCC.
