At present, NUMS has been providing several undergraduate programs on different campuses. Here are the details:
1. Allied Health Sciences
Programs Available:
• BS Cardiac Perfusion
• BS Medical Lab Technology (MLT)
• Medical Imaging Technology
Eligibility Criteria:
• Fifty percent marks in FSc Pre-Medical, FSc MLT, FSc MIT, or the comparable degree.
• Applicants with FSc MLT can only apply for BS MLT, and applicants with FSc MIT can only apply for BS MIT.
• All three programs are open for students with FSc Pre-Medical qualifications.
Campus: AFPGMI, Rawalpindi
2. Nutrition & Dietetics
Program Available: Bachelor of Science In Human Nutrition and Dietetics
Eligibility Criteria: FSc Pre-Medical: minimum 50% marks or A-levels with Biology as an academic qualification.
Campus: NUMS PWD, Islamabad
3. Biological Sciences
Programs Available:
• BS Microbiology
• BS Biotechnology
• BS Molecular Biology & Genetics
Eligibility Criteria: FSc / equivalent (pre-medical) with at least 60% marks or an equivalent examination with at least twelve years of schooling.
4. Public Health
Program Available: BS Public Health
Eligibility requirements include passing A-levels and earning at least 50% in the SSC or second division in the FSc Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, FA, ICS, and I. Com.
5. Psychology
Program Available: BS Psychology
Eligibility Criteria: FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent passed with at least 50% marks.
Admission Test Requirements
To secure admission, candidates must qualify in one of the following tests:
• NUMS Online Admission Test Undergraduate Programs Test Date: Tuesday, January 28, 2025
• NUMS MDCAT (2024) was conducted on 01-09-2024
• PM&DC MDCAT (2024).
Merit Determination
Entrance Test: 50%
HSSC or Equivalent: 40%
SSC/O-Level: 10%
